Book Study and Interpersonal Discussion

“For C. G. Jung, aging was not a process of inexorable decline but rather a time for progressive refinement for what is essential (Maidenbaum, p. vii).”

As is always the case within a Jungian perspective, growth can follow closely on the heels of loss; and new beginnings often depend on endings, planned or unplanned.

Join us on four Saturdays this autumn to explore together what aging might mean in our own personal stories. Conversations will be based on readings from the collection of essays in Jung and aging: Possibilities and potentials for the second half of life (full citation and link to purchase below). This series will look to aspects of meaning-making amidst changing expectations in physical, professional, familial, or spiritual life. Selected essays will serve as points of departure for inward reflection, didactic learning about essay content and shared experience within the group setting.
