From the Depths to the Heights: Exploring Differences between Soul and Spirit

JOIN ME FOR AN ENGAGING VIRTUAL DISCUSSION ON SOUL, SPIRIT, AND CONNECTION TO THE NUMINOUS

James Hillman wrote: “…our idea of human nature devolved from a tripartite cosmos of spirit, soul, and body (or matter), to a dualism of spirit (or mind) and body (or matter).” The notion of soul was left behind, but remains essential from a Jungian perspective. Using the Jungian lens as our guide, join us for a conversation about differences in ideas about spirit and soul, and how these notions might shape our own sense of connection to the numinous. Discussion will be grounded in an essay by James Hillman (the founder of archetypal psychology), Peaks and Vales.
