Jungian Book Club: Memories, Dreams, Reflections

  • The Anima Mundi Project 3109 Mayfield Road Cleveland Heights, OH, 44118 United States (map)

DESCRIPTION:

Who is Carl Gustav Jung? Was his childhood unique? Why was he drawn to psychiatry, and how did he find his way into an entirely new method of working with the unconscious? How did his perspectives about life and meaning change as he moved into old age? We will use the book as a tool for an open discussion regarding participants’ impressions of, challenges with, and questions about Jung’s work. Participants should purchase a copy of the book, which is accessible with Amazon or Barnes & Noble. There are also electronic and audio versions of the book.

In session 1, we will be looking at chapters 1 and 2, First Years and School Years. If time, we will also begin chapter 3, Student Years. Sessions 2-6 will progress according to the pacing of the group.
